About Us

We’re Rory and Mikaela, and we run Mountain Springs Outpost based in Southern Alberta.

Most of what we do is pretty simple. We make apparel that actually gets worn—stuff that ends up in the truck, at work, out running around, whatever the day looks like. Not the kind of thing that sits on a shelf looking nice. It’s more about putting something on it that actually means something.

It all goes back to the first Hometown logo—something put together to show off the small town Rory grew up in. When we took it over, we didn’t change much, just kept building on it. More towns, more ideas, and more people wanting something that actually felt like theirs.

That’s still what most of it comes down to. Hometown designs that stick around, monthly ones that come and go, and a lot of custom work in between—cattle brands, business apparel, names that actually mean something. If someone’s got something in mind, we’re always up for it.

We just keep making things people end up using. That’s really all it is.
